Kutztown University has conferred degrees for nearly 1,300 students for the Spring 2019 semester. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees following the spring 2019 semester. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honors distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. Students listed multiple times have been awarded more than one degree.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

The following students have earned the distinction of Dean's List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Spring 2019.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The University of Alabama awarded some 5,716 degrees during its spring commencement May 3-5. Nearly 200 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity-level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher.

Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen spring athletic teams.

Mount St. Mary's University is pleased to announce 665 students earned dean's list honors for the Spring 2019 semester.

The Class of 2019 graduated on Sunday, May 26, in a ceremony concluding the College's 207th year. Freeman Hrabowski, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, delivered the Commencement address, advising graduates to "keep asking the hard questions and keep thinking of things we've not thought about - about social justice and inequality and seeking the truth." Hamilton's 490 graduates now join an alumni body of more than 23,000, many of whom have made important contributions to business, the professions, government and the arts.

These and other themes were reflected during Gettysburg College's 184th Commencement ceremony as we celebrated the accomplishments of our 611 graduates and looked forward with them to the future. Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni.

Hamilton's annual Class & Charter Day took place on May 13. Established in 1950, the event combines the traditional Class Day celebrating the end of classes with a commemoration of the granting of College's charter on May 26, 1812. The ceremony features an address by a historian, trustee, alumnus, or faculty member whose (subject) topic is related to Hamilton's history and traditions. Academic and scholarly achievement prizes are awarded to students and faculty. More than 150 students received prizes this year. In addition, 10 faculty members were honored for their contributions in the classroom.

The Liberty League has announced its year-end award winners in men's lacrosse and six Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes have been recognized. Cooper Urban has been chosen as the Rookie of the Year, while JT Kelly, Owen Putman, Lucas Bastarache and Keaton Ackermann were all named All-Liberty League First Team. Quinn Fettig garnered Second Team recognition. Urban is a freshman, Putman is a junior and the other four are seniors.

For the sixth time this season, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete Cooper Urbanhas been selected as the Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week by the Liberty League, it has been announced.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its award winners for the month of March and four Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes - all freshmen - have been selected in three sports. Erika Holowka was chosen as the Division III North Pitcher of the Month in softball, while Jessica Torch, Cole Paquin and Cooper Urban have each been tabbed as Division III North Rookies of the Month in softball, baseball and men's lacrosse, respectively.

Thirty-six students participated in Hamilton's 26th annual Alternative Spring Break. Participants traveled to Rockbridge, Va., Goldsboro-Wayne, N.C., and Marion County, S.C., to work on Habitat for Humanity projects, and to Baltimore to work with youth. Alternative Spring Break is aimed at increasing students' awareness and concern of social issues while generating a life-long interest in community service.

For the third consecutive week and the fifth time in the last six, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete Cooper Urban has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week.

University of Scranton students built homes, served at-risk youth and prepared meals for the homeless during their participation in six domestic service trips, organized by Campus Ministries' Center for Service and Social Justice, over spring break.

Kelly, a senior, has been named the Performer of the Week, while Urban, a freshman, has captured the Rookie of the Week award.
